Corps & Psychisme (C&P)
Journal Descriptions
With a psychoanalytic orientation but also an interdisciplinary perspective, this journal publishes information, theoretical contributions and field research that have the capacity to provide an original perspective on issues and developments connected to the subjective relationship to the body. Historically, Corps & Psychisme is a continuation of Champ Psychosomatique (Champ Psy), itself a continuation of the Revue de médecine psychosomatique et de psychologie médicale created in 1958 by psychiatrists Michel Sapir and Léon Chertok. Until 2015, it was directed by Gisèle Harrus-Révidi. It was one of the first magazines to work on the body, not just in psychosomatics, but in current affairs, politics, art, philosophy and scientific discoveries. All the while keeping the psychoanalytical frame of reference open to new extensions.
