Cor et Vasa , the journal of the Czech Society of Cardiology and the Czech Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, is published six times a year and covers all aspects of cardiology, angiology, cardiovascular surgery, cardiovascular imaging, pediatric cardiology, hypertension, cardiovascular prevention and some aspects of interventional radiology. It contains editorials, original communications, review articles and short communications from clinical and experimental cardiology. Starting from 2012, Cor et Vasa also publishes summaries (5,000 words) of the recommended practices of the European Society of Cardiology, prepared by leading Czech experts. The Cor et Vasa Kardio supplement brings book reviews, abstracts from selected congresses, reports from congresses and conferences, elections and discussions, polemics, comments, information from the Czech Society of Cardiology, the Czech Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and the European Society of Cardiology as well as current international news and topics. The journal Cor et Vasa is published in electronic version online and in printed version in Czech, Slovak or English. Abstracts and keywords are published in both Czech and English for articles by Czech and foreign authors. The journal is available in its entirety on the website of the Czech Medical Society and the Czech Medical Society, and is also sent to members of the Czech Medical Society by e-mail in electronic version. Cor et Vasa is included in the databases EMBASE, Scopus, Bibliographia medica Čechoslovaca, ESC Search Engine, Emerging Sources Citation Index of Thomson and Reuters, Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports – impact factor 0.1 for 2023.
