Contemporary Herpetology (CH) was an electronic journal published from 1998 to 2009 that was designed to facilitate the dissemination of herpetological information. CH maintained high scientific standards and all submitted articles had to pass peer-review prior to publication. CH published articles covering all aspects of herpetology, including ecology, ethology, systematics, conservation biology, and physiology, as well as reviews, monographs, points-of-view, and faunistic surveys of poorly known areas. The journal published its last issue in 2009. For current research, please see the Journal of North American Herpetology (JNAH) .
