Considerations in Medicine is a broad scope multidisciplinary journal that welcomes research and reviews from across all medical disciplines and therapeutic areas. The journal aims to provide a home for all well-conducted research that will help to complete the scientific record. This includes medical research that is robust and reproducible including work showing incremental advances or null results. Considerations in Medicine is a broad scope multidisciplinary journal that welcomes research and reviews from across all medical disciplines and therapeutic areas. The journal will aim to champion medical research that is considered scientifically and methodologically sound, regardless of perceived novelty and impact. Considerations in Medicine will be open for submissions soon. Areas of interest include but are not limited to, ophthalmology, neurology, paediatrics, oncology, public health, immunology, pharmacology, and internal medicine. The journal also welcomes studies reporting negative or null results, replication studies, systematic reviews and commentaries. Considerations in Medicine is a hybrid journal, meaning authors are able to submit and publish in the journal for free, but content articles will be available to read to those who subscribe to the journal. The journal encourages authors to follow the green route to open access, by depositing their article in an available pre-print server, like Medrxiv or other suitable platforms.
