Communications in Mathematics and Statistics (CMS)
Journal Descriptions
Communications in Mathematics and Statistics is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal published by Springer in collaboration with the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). The journal publishes high-level original research articles across a broad spectrum of mathematical sciences. Its scope includes but is not limited to: pure mathematics, applied mathematics, computational mathematics, and areas interfacing with probability and statistics. The journal serves as a platform for significant theoretical contributions, innovative methodologies, and results of interest to researchers working in both foundational and applied aspects of mathematics and statistics. Typical topics include mathematical analysis, algebra, geometry, numerical methods, stochastic processes, statistical theory, and computational techniques. By focusing on rigorous developments and interdisciplinary insights that bridge mathematics and statistics, the journal supports the advancement of quantitative research and facilitates scholarly communication among the global mathematical sciences community. Each annual volume consists of four issues, offering a regular publication schedule for disseminating impactful research results.
