Colorectal Cancer: an open access is a fast growing open access journal for researchers to share their views on the latest development in the field of colorectal cancer research. Colorectal cancer is one of the recurrently occurring malignancies worldwide with about 1.8 million newly diagnosed cases in 2019. It is third most common cancer worldwide. Colorectal cancer often begins as abnormal growth tissue called a polyp inside the colon or rectum which is the main cause of morbidity & mortality. The treatment of colorectal cancer is now multidisciplinary and guided by precise staging and histopathology. For this reason, all patients should be discussed and treated as appropriate by a team consisting of pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, researchers and colorectal nurse specialists. The main emphasis is on recent scientific developments in all areas related to colorectal cancers.
