It has been in continuous publication since 1982, making it a well‑established forum for interdisciplinary research that bridges the social sciences, design, merchandising, and textile science. The journal’s core mission is to publish high‑quality research that advances understanding of clothing and textiles from multiple scholarly perspectives.
