Clinical Ophthalmology is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal covering all subspecialties within ophthalmology. Specific topics covered by the journal include: Ophthalmic clinical practice Visual science Primary and secondary eye care Pharmacology and drug therapy in eye diseases Surgical techniques and innovations Patient safety and quality of care improvements Patient education, patient compliance, patient adherence/satisfaction Optometry and orthoptics Eye health promotion and preventative eye care Authors are required to provide imaging and diagnostic studies regarding the clinical findings. Basic science studies, such as cell biology and genetics studies, must have direct clinical relevance. Pure, non-human animal studies are not accepted. Clinical Ophthalmology accepts original research, reviews, editorials, commentaries, clinical trial reports and protocols. Case reports/series are not suitable for this journal, but these submissions to Clinical Ophthalmology will be diverted to the Ophthalmology section of the International Medical Case Reports Journal (Journal metric data for this journal can be accessed here).
