Civilisations (Civilisations)
Journal Descriptions
Civilisations is a peer-reviewed anthropology journal. Distributed continuously since 1951, it publishes, in French and English, articles from all fields of anthropology, without regional or temporal exclusivity. Relaunched in 2002 with a new editorial board and a new subtitle (Revue internationale d'anthropologie et de sciences humaines), the journal now particularly encourages the publication of articles in which anthropological approaches are articulated with those of other social sciences, thus revealing the processes by which societies are constructed.
