Journal Descriptions

The Chronique internationale de l'IRES is a quarterly publication founded in 1989. It is aimed at trade unionists and researchers, and more broadly at readers with an interest in international economic and social news and industrial relations. The mission of the Chronique internationale de l'IRES is to provide readers with the keys to understanding social, economic and political developments abroad, including at European Union and international (ILO, etc.) levels. This willingness to look elsewhere in order to learn from foreign experiences also reflects a concern to encourage a decentralized view of national realities and practices. Of the four issues, three feature a variety of articles, and the last, which appears in December, is a special issue devoted to a particular theme (young people in the crisis, unemployment benefit reforms, etc.), treated from a comparative perspective. The IRES International Chronicle is a quarterly publication founded in 1989. It is aimed at trade unionists and researchers, and more broadly at readers interested in current economic, social and industrial relations issues at the international level. The mission of the IRES International Chronicle is to provide readers with keys to understanding current social, economic, and political events abroad, including at the European Union and international levels (ILO, etc.). This desire to look elsewhere to benefit from foreign experiences also corresponds to the desire to promote a decentralized view of national realities and practices. Of the four issues, three contain various articles and the last, which appears in December, is a special issue devoted to a particular theme (young people in the crisis, unemployment benefit reforms, etc.), treated from a comparative perspective.
