Chinese Physics C (CPC)
Journal Descriptions
Chinese Physics C is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the rapid publication of significant research in high-energy and nuclear physics and related fields. Founded in 1977 as High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics, it became part of the Chinese Physics series in 2008 and adopted its current title the same year. The journal publishes original research articles, letters, and invited reviews that span both theoretical and experimental investigations in particle physics, nuclear interactions, particle and nuclear astrophysics, and cosmology. Chinese Physics C serves an international community of researchers and features contributions on advanced accelerator physics, collider experiments, neutrino physics, quantum chromodynamics, heavy-ion physics, and astrophysical particle phenomena. As part of the SCOAP³ consortium, it supports open access publishing for qualifying articles, facilitating broad dissemination of cutting-edge discoveries. The journal is included in key indexing databases and maintains rigorous peer review standards with a relatively fast turnaround to encourage timely reporting of results. With a monthly frequency and global editorial board, Chinese Physics C plays an important role in advancing fundamental understanding of the universe at the smallest and largest scales by connecting theory with experimental results from major international facilities.
