The Hong Kong Chinese Language Society edits and publishes the Language Construction Newsletter (Hong Kong). Its predecessor, Chinese Character Reform (Hong Kong), was founded in 1980. Currently, the Language Construction Newsletter is a quarterly publication, featuring papers on various language and writing topics, with each issue containing 80 pages and approximately 110,000 words.
