Chinese Journal of Transnational Law (CJTL)
Journal Descriptions
The Chinese Journal of Transnational Law is a newly established international academic law journal that serves as a premier platform for the dissemination of high‑quality scholarship on transnational legal issues. It adopts a broad and problem‑oriented approach that includes not only traditional doctrinal and theoretical legal research, but also contextual, interdisciplinary and policy‑oriented work that reflects contemporary legal challenges in an increasingly interconnected world. The journal welcomes contributions on a wide variety of topics such as transnational dispute resolution, international economic governance, transnational regulation of technology, cross‑border family and child law, corporate responsibility and governance, global health and environmental law, extraterritorial jurisdiction and sanctions, and comparative law analyses. Emphasis is placed on reflecting diverse legal cultures and perspectives from different regions, with an aim to stimulate dialogue among scholars from China, Asia, Europe, the Americas and beyond. Published under the auspices of the Wuhan University Institute of International Law and SAGE Publications, the journal seeks to contribute to the development of transnational law as a field and to provide an inclusive academic forum for emerging issues affecting both domestic and global legal regimes. Its semiannual schedule allows for both rigor in peer review and currency in addressing evolving legal phenomena.
