The Chinese Journal of Sociology (CJS) is an international, peer‑reviewed academic journal published quarterly, established in 2015 through a collaboration between Shanghai University, SAGE Publications and the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China at Princeton University. The journal aims to serve as a leading platform for rigorous sociological research on contemporary Chinese society and social change. It publishes high‑quality original research articles, theoretical essays, and critical reviews that engage both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
