ChemRxiv (pronounced 'chem-archive') is a free submission, distribution, and archive service for unpublished preprints in chemistry and related areas. ChemRxiv gives researchers across a broad range of fields related to the chemical sciences the opportunity to share early results with colleagues and receive recommendations for improvement, ahead of formal peer review and publication. Researchers can use ChemRxiv to: Gather feedback and context from fellow scientists Rapidly disseminate work to a wide audience Establish the priority and precedence of a discovery Boost the visibility of research findings Make research work more discoverable Find potential collaborators and hold interdisciplinary discussions Document research results for grant reviewers in advance of publication Facilitate rapid evaluation of results Spot trends and encourage a broad range of constructive feedback All of these features can ultimately improve the reliability of the final research. ChemRxiv preprints are created directly from the author's original files and are not modified before posting. We conduct a basic screening for plagiarism, offensive language, non-scientific, and inappropriate content, and we will exclude materials that may pose a health or security risk if identified. Beyond this screening, the files are unedited and are not peer reviewed. Please see our Policies for more information.
