Journal Descriptions

The CEAS Space Journal is devoted to new developments and results in all areas of space-related science and technology, including important spin-off capabilities and applications as well as ground-based support systems and manufacturing advancements. Of interest are also (invited) in-depth reviews of the status of development in specific areas of relevance to space, and descriptions of the potential way forward. Disciplines of interest include all those that reflect consolidated and new technologies and requirements that stem from new applications of space assets. These include mission design and space systems, satellite constellations, small satellites, operations and in-orbit servicing, satellite communications, aerothermodynamics (including physical fluid dynamics), environmental control and life support systems, optics, optoelectronics and photonics, avionics, cybersecurity for space systems, guidance, navigation and control, robotics, artificial intelligence in space, materials and processes, mechanisms, structures, testing, propulsion (including green and novel propulsion), access to space and reusable launchers, power, thermal issues, space debris, space sustainability, circular economy in space, space traffic management, planetary exploration, space life sciences, planetary protection and defense.
