The Canadian Journal of General Internal Medicine (CJGIM) is an open access, peer reviewed journal emphasizing topics and issues facing the profession of Internal Medicine with a combination of society news, clinical and scientific original articles. The Canadian Journal of General Internal Medicine (CJGIM) is an open access, peer reviewed journal which publishes 4 times yearly and is owned by the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine. The journal is circulated to all members of the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine as well as specialists with an interest in Internal Medicine. With a mix of clinical articles as well as academic articles, the CJGIM provides a comprehensive and valued resource of quality content. The CJGIM accepts submissions under the categories of original research articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the editor, and book reviews. The CJGIM also publishes selected conference abstracts and special supplemental issues. CJGIM began publication in 2006 under the guidance of the Editor-in-Chief Dr. Hector Baillie. Under the leadership of former Editor-in-Chief Dr. Mitchell Levine, CJGIM is an electronic only, open access, peer-reviewed journal which publishes 4 issues yearly.
