Cahiers de Gestalt-thérapie (CGT)
Journal Descriptions
"Les Cahiers*", a biannual magazine, is the "showcase" of the European College of Gestalt Therapy (CEG-T): through it are expressed and deepened the questions and reflections that make up the originality of the College's theoretical, methodological and clinical approach. "Les Cahiers*" was created in 1996 and is aimed at professionals in the field of Gestalt therapy, mainly psychotherapists but also trainers, as well as professionals for whom Gestalt therapy is part of their theoretical and practical frame of reference. The Editorial Board is responsible for overseeing the general direction of the magazine, in conjunction with the Board of Directors. Proposals for articles, as well as reactions and testimonials, are sent to the committee around nine months before publication. The committee also solicits contributions from French and foreign authors recognized for their interest and reflections on the current theme. Although Gestalt therapy is one of the best-known and most widely practiced psychotherapies in France and throughout the world, it has become much better known through its clinical practice than through its publications. Booksellers generally only stock popular works for the general public, rarely fundamental works or reference texts for professionals or a well-informed electorate in search of such texts. This is why the founders of the Collège decided to create this magazine.
