The Bollettino della Società Geografica Italiana (Bollettino of the Italian Geographical Society) was founded in 1868 and has been continuously published since. It is the oldest geographical journal in Italy and one of the oldest in the world. It covers human, economic, cultural, social, and environmental geography. The journal is guided by an editorial board and a scientific committee whose members represent diverse approaches and research interests in the discipline. It publishes original research that addresses a broad range of geographical topics from diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives and across all scales of inquiry, as well as contributions to the scientific debate, news, and reviews. Published articles are peer-reviewed (double-blind review) and evaluated based on their innovative contribution and scientific quality. The Bulletin of the Italian Geographical Society has been included in the Band A journals for area 11. The Journal is aimed at scholars of Human Geography, Historical Geography, Physical Geography, Social Geography, Economic Geography, Political Geography and related disciplines.
