Boletín de la Sociedad Matemática Mexicana (BSMM)
Journal Descriptions
Boletín de la Sociedad Matemática Mexicana is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across the full spectrum of mathematics and its applications. As an official outlet of the Sociedad Matemática Mexicana, it provides a distinguished platform for original research articles as well as invited survey and expository papers that address core mathematical disciplines including algebra, analysis, geometry, topology, differential equations, mathematical physics, probability and statistics, and computational methods. The journal’s scope emphasizes rigorous theoretical advances and innovative applications that contribute to both pure and applied mathematics. Articles undergo careful refereeing by an international editorial board of experts, ensuring scholarly excellence and scientific relevance. First founded in the mid-20th century and continuing through its Third Series since the mid-1990s, the journal has maintained a strong tradition of promoting mathematical research within Mexico and internationally. In addition to original contributions, Boletín de la Sociedad Matemática Mexicana often features survey and review articles that synthesize developments in important subfields, fostering deeper understanding and collaboration among mathematicians globally. The hybrid publishing model with Springer allows broad dissemination of research outputs to academic libraries and online scholarly communities.
