We focus on the tools, methods, and concepts that are basic and central to practising evidence-based medicine and deliver relevant, trustworthy and impactful evidence. BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine aims to: Publish research, insights and opinions on what matters for health care Focus on the tools, methods, and concepts that are basic and central to teaching and practising evidence-based medicine (EBM). We deliver relevant, trustworthy and impactful evidence by: Publishing relevant research from primary studies and evidence syntheses on topics in general medicine Disseminating important tools for teaching and implementing EBM in clinical practice Providing perspective, debate, analysis, and opinion on trusted evidence and relevant topics in EBM BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine now publishes solely online. This change brings significant climate and environmental benefits. Transitioning to online-only means we can completely eliminate the substantial use of energy, water and chemicals that is involved in the complex production and distribution process of a print journal.
