Journal Descriptions

Blood Neoplasia is an international, peer reviewed, fully open access journal dedicated to advancing research in hematologic malignancies and related disorders. Launched in 2024 by the American Society of Hematology and published by Elsevier, the journal serves as a specialized platform for high quality basic, translational, and clinical research in blood cancers. It complements the broader hematology journals within the Blood family by focusing specifically on neoplastic diseases of the blood and bone marrow. The journal publishes original investigations, reviews, and clinically relevant studies covering leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, Waldenström macroglobulinemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, minimal residual disease, precursor conditions, and other hematologic cancers. Manuscripts are selected through rigorous peer review based on scientific quality, novelty, methodological rigor, and potential impact on patient care. Blood Neoplasia aims to accelerate the dissemination of discoveries in malignant hematology, foster collaboration among researchers and clinicians, and improve understanding of disease mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. Through its open access publishing model, the journal ensures global accessibility of cutting edge research, supporting advances in precision medicine and innovative therapies for patients affected by blood cancers worldwide.
