Biosalud (Biosalud)

This is a scientific publication of the BIOSALUD Research Group, affiliated with the Department of Basic Health Sciences of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Its mission is to publish original articles resulting from research projects, reflection articles, review articles, and case reports on various topics related to human health in both basic and clinical sciences. The journal is aimed at the national and international scientific community researching the aforementioned topics, as well as professionals and undergraduate and graduate students in different areas of human health. Biosalud Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific publication without APC ( Article Processing Charge ) with biannual circulation, affiliated with and funded by the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Vice-Rectorate of Research and Postgraduate Studies of the University of Caldas. It receives original articles, reviews, reflection articles and case reports associated with different topics of human health in both basic and clinical sciences. This publication is aimed at students and professionals in the health field, researchers dedicated to the different disciplines of human health, health authorities dedicated to the implementation of protocols related to the management of different clinical processes and the different state committees dedicated to the formulation and implementation of health policies.
