The journal Biomedical and Biopharmaceutical Research | Investigação Biomédica e Biofarmacêutica (BBR | IBB) is an international, bilingual, peer-reviewed scientific publication created with the main objective of promoting the progress of society through health-related knowledge. BBR | IBB is proud to be distinguished with the High Sponsorship of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries). The journal is owned by ALIES, a non-profit cultural organisation (read more about ALIES here). In the fields of biomedical sciences and biopharmaceuticals, BBR | IBB's research interests focus on environmental, social, educational, behavioural, technological and political perspectives to promote human health and prevent disease in individuals and their communities. BBR | IBB is present in several databases - Scopus, Portuguese Medical Journals, SciElo, UNIVERSIA, LATINDEX, KOSMET Index, FSTA®, Thomson Reuters, PMC, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, mEDRA, among others.
