Biologia, Bratislava is an international journal covering all fields of botany, zoology and cellular and molecular biology. The journal is arranged into three respective sections: A - Botany, B - Zoology, and C - Cellular and Molecular Biology. The Section Cellular and Molecular Biology of Biologia, Bratislava is edited by the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. It publishes in two regular issues per year (June and December) papers and contributions on all aspects of research in the field of cellular and molecular biology. The manuscripts of both experimental and theoretical nature are equally considered. Biologia, Bratislava is abstracted by the Current Contents section Agriculture, Biology & Environmental Sciences and Agris/FAO, and indexed by Science Citation Index-Expanded.
