Augustinianum is the peer-reviewed journal of the Augustinian Patristic Institute in Rome. Since 1961 it has published original research and reviews related to the study of ancient Christian literature and the thought of the Fathers of the Church. In its first ten years the journal published a number of Targumim. Also, from 1973-1988 the journal published many of the papers presented at the annual Meetings of Scholars of Christian Antiquity, which is held in early May at the Institutum Patristicum Augustinianum.
