This academic journal is oriented toward applied research in auditing, accounting, and management control. It primarily disseminates articles contributing to empirical knowledge of tools and practices. ACCRA is the second official academic journal of the Association Francophone de Comptabilité (AFC) (Francophone Accounting Association). ACCRA is the second official academic journal of the Francophone Accounting Association (AFC). It is an academic journal oriented towards applied research in auditing, accounting and management control, intended for a French-speaking readership. The journal is aimed at academics, knowledgeable professionals and advanced students wishing to follow developments in their specialty. It is published in digital format on Cairn.info, with three issues per year (in January, May and September), with free and open access. ACCRA primarily disseminates articles contributing to empirical knowledge of tools and practices. It also presents targeted state of the art in line with the concerns of professionals and original reflections. All methodologies are accepted provided that they are rigorously deployed and that the articles contribute to the advancement of scientific research in auditing, accounting and management control. The journal is also widely open to historical or educational research in the field. Articles submitted to ACCRA are reviewed by two reviewers per article, in a blind review process. ACCRA is supported, institutionally and financially, and accompanied in its dissemination by the main associations in the field, whether they are professional such as the National Company of Auditors (CNCC), the National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants (CNOEC), the French Authority of Accounting Standards (ANC) or academics such as the Francophone Accounting Association (AFC).
