Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention (APJCP)

The Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention (APJCP) is a monthly electronic journal that publishes papers in a wide spectrum of cancer sciences. It was launched in 2000 as the official publication of the Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention (APOCP), and its first volume, with 51 articles, was published in 2000. The APJCP with its distinguished, diverse, and Asia-wide team of editors, reviewers, and readers, ensures the highest standards of research communication within the cancer sciences community across Asia and globally. The APJCP accepts a manuscript on the whole spectrum of cancer sciences. All manuscripts published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention, are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. This permits anyone to copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt the published work, provided the original work and source are appropriately cited. The Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention (APJCP) is a monthly electronic journal that publishes papers in a wide spectrum of cancer sciences. The journal was launched in 2000 as the official publication of the Asia Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention (APOCP), and its first extensive volume with 51 articles was published in 2000. The Journal is very popular among scientists in Asia; however, it has received and published many manuscripts from researchers all over the world. The Journal has been indexed in a wide variety of indexing organizations, and its Impact Factor for 2014 was reported at 2.52. After sixteen years of dedicated service to the APJCP as the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Antony Moore retired in the Spring of 2016. The APOCP’s Steering Committee has appointed Prof. Alirzea Mosavi-Jarrahi as the new Editor-in-Chief, and the editorial office moved from the Korean National Cancer Center to West Asia Organization for Cancer Prevention, APOCP's West Asia Chapter, under the auspice of Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences, Sabzevar, Iran. Even though the APJCP is a scientific journal, the editorial committee has always been a balance of experts from different parts of Asia, and this tradition remains under the leadership of the new Editor-in-Chief. At present, scientists from different countries across Asia are represented in the editorial committee and participate effectively in promoting the journal towards its goals and objectives.
