This journal nourishes historical research meeting the standards of the mathematical sciences. Its aim is to give rapid and full publication to writings of exceptional depth, scope, and permanence. The ARCHIVE prefers articles written in English but will accept submissions in French. Articles are published in the Archive ONLY via a member of the editorial board, who, by communicating the articles, vouches for its quality.
