Architectural Heritage (AH)
Journal Descriptions
Architectural Heritage is a volume of architectural history and conservation articles, essays and other writings, covering all periods of building up to and including the recent past. Contributors are regarded as authoritative in their subject area, with papers by leading Scottish and international architectural historians and conservation professionals. The journal also includes extensive book reviews, an update on architectural accessions to the National Monuments Record of Scotland and the Scottish Research Register, which covers research on Scottish architecture completed in the previous year by students in Scottish universities. The Journal, Architectural Heritage, is the only peer reviewed publication of new architectural heritage research in Scotland, and as such is an invaluable resource to the heritage conservation field. The Journal (published periodically) is compiled by a voluntary Publications Committee and Editor. Over the years our highly respected Journal has attracted scholarly contributions from Scotland’s leading architectural historians. The position of Editor (most recently undertaken by Dr Sally Rush, University of Glasgow) has attracted enthusiastic individuals from key heritage bodies and academic establishments.
