Apuntes Contables (AC)

The Scientific Accounting Journal "Apuntes Contables" (print ISSN 1657-7175; digital ISSN 2619-4899) informs the academic community that, following a detailed review of its editorial, scientific, and institutional conditions, its editorial process has been formally closed with the publication of issue 36. This decision is in response to changes in scientific evaluation systems and to structural limitations that prevent the journal from continuing to meet the currently required standards of quality and impact. We deeply appreciate the support received over more than two decades of editorial work committed to advancing accounting knowledge. Consequently, as of today, the Apuntes Contables journal will no longer accept new article submissions. We encourage authors to redirect their proposals to other scientific publications that contribute to strengthening academic dialogue and the visibility of accounting research. We reiterate our gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, readers, and contributors for their commitment and trust over the years. The Scientific Journal of Accounting " Accounting Notes " is responsible for promoting debate and the development of scientific research within the academic community, the journal welcomes scientific production related to the following aspects: financial accounting, management accounting, accounting for sustainability, macro accounting and development, financial performance, organizational and accounting sociology, accounting education, taxation, taxation and inspection, corporate governance, national and international accounting regulation, internal control, accountability and disclosure of information, information and communication technologies, quality of accounting results, need for information, control and assurance of information, measurement and valuation of accounting facts, information for accounting decision making, forensic auditing, among other matters of interest to the accounting discipline and profession.
