The Annales publish original research papers on Insecta [Hexapoda], Arachnida and Myriapoda, covering various fields: biology, comparative anatomy, phylogeny, ecology, plant-insects' interactions, systematics, faunistic and zoogeography, population genetics, ethology. The manuscripts are written preferably in English, or in French. Regarding taxonomy, the journal avoids publishing isolated descriptions and prefers works including ecological, biogeographical or phylogenetic aspects, or complete revisions. Articles with many pages are welcome. Book reviews are also accepted or requested. The Annales are published six times a year, amounting to about 580 pages.
