Annales de Génétique (ADG)

Annales de Génétique was a peer-reviewed scientific journal established in 1958 that played a significant role in disseminating foundational research across the many disciplines of genetics. Throughout its publication history, it embraced both experimental and clinical aspects of genetics, including cytogenetics, molecular biology, hereditary disease research, population studies, and gene-environment interactions. Published quarterly, the journal provided a platform for geneticists, physicians, and laboratory scientists to present original research findings, comprehensive reviews, methodological advances, and theoretical contributions in human and experimental genetics. In 2005 the publication was continued under the English-language title European Journal of Medical Genetics, aligning the journal more closely with the global research community and expanding its scope within medical genetics.
