Ancient Philosophy Today: DIALOGOI (APT)

The journal supports a research approach according to which engaging in the study of ancient ideas can bring genuine philosophical insights to us today. We can reconstruct them and better assess them for their philosophical value by bringing contemporary philosophical methods and ideas to bear on them; at the same time, we can enrich our present philosophical discussions by reference to ancient philosophical ideas. The journal pursues its distinctive mission by publishing original research articles of the highest quality, and by promoting discussion of cutting-edge research already published by commissioning book reviews as well as state of the art overviews on key ongoing discussions in the field. The journal was founded in 2019. It applies double blind review to the submissions received. It publishes work in English, twice a year.
