The African Journal of Rheumatology (AJR) is a peer-reviewed scholarly medical journal dedicated to the study and management of rheumatic diseases and musculoskeletal disorders in Africa. Established in 2013 and published by the African League of Associations for Rheumatology (AFLAR), the journal provides a platform for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to disseminate scientific research and clinical findings related to rheumatology. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and clinical reports focusing on diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, gout, spondyloarthritis, myositis, and other autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
