The African Journal of Economic Policy is a peer‑reviewed academic journal focused on research and analysis of economic policy issues in Africa. It provides a platform for scholars and policymakers to discuss how economic policies affect growth, development, equity, trade, finance, employment, and welfare across African countries. The journal publishes empirical and theoretical papers that explore the implications of policies both within individual nations and at a regional or continental level. It also welcomes work examining how policies by multinational, intergovernmental and non‑governmental institutions influence African economies. The overriding aim is to sharpen understanding of policy impacts on economic outcomes and sustainable development in Africa.
