The African Journal of Democracy and Governance (AJDG) / Revue africaine de la démocratie et de la gouvernance (RADG) is published under the auspices of the Institute for Democracy, Governance, Peace and Development in Africa (IDGPA)/Institute pour la démocratie, la gouvernance, la paix et le développement en Afrique (IDGPA, and a non-profit and independent civil society organisation registered in South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo. AJDG/RADG is a fully peer-reviewed quarterly, multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary journal that publishes editorials, articles, essays, book reviews, and notes on issues related to democracy, good governance, development and peace in Africa. Its main objective is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and constitute a repository of scholarly work of high academic standards which impacts on policies and contribute to the establishment and/or consolidation of democracy, good governance, development and peace that are critical for an African renaissance. AJDG/RADG is a bilingual journal that publishes articles in French and/or English on any issue governance in Africa. Since 27 October 2017, the African Journal of Democracy and Gouvernance / Revue africaine de la democratie et de la gouvernance is among the international journals approved on the Norwegian List of Accredited Journals.
