Advances and Applications in Fluid Mechanics (AAFM)
Journal Descriptions
The Advances and Applications in Fluid Mechanics is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research papers based on Theoretical, Computational, or Experimental Investigations devoted to any aspect of fluid mechanics. Broadly, the journal covers topics such as the Flow of Compressible and Incompressible Fluids, Hydrodynamics, Hydrotechnology, Boundary Layer Flow, Lubrication, Turbulence, Flow in Porous Media, and Multiphase Flow. The journal promotes work in fluid mechanics that is based on mathematical modeling, numerical methods, or simulation. Furthermore, the journal highly encourages articles that deal with the applications of fluid mechanics in areas such as Magneto-Hydrodynamics (MHD), MHD Power Generation, Computational Fluid Dynamics, advanced topics in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Advanced Micro-robotics using Functional Fluids, Functional Fluids in Electric Agentic Fields, Large-scale Fluid simulations, Civil Engineering, Geosciences, Biological Sciences, and Aerodynamics. Additionally, Survey Articles covering findings in a certain direction that have the potential to create avenues for further investigation are welcome.
