The Addiction Therapy magazine is the forum for everyone working in the areas of addiction prevention, addiction treatment and addiction research. All articles are selected and prepared in such a way that they are attractive to the various specialist disciplines. The focus is clearly on practical relevance: the basics and new approaches to addiction prevention, therapy and policy are presented and reflected. Basic scientific topics are also taken up and the suggestions that arise from them for care and treatment practice are shown. Addiction work as a whole is sometimes susceptible to doctrines, dogmas and beliefs. Addiction therapy questions what already exists, develops it further through controversial discourses and is open to different theoretical and practical approaches. Important international treatment and research approaches are also taken up and fed into the local discussion.
