Acta Paediatrica Sinica (APS)
Journal Descriptions
Acta Paediatrica Sinica was a well recognized peer reviewed medical journal dedicated to pediatric and neonatal healthcare research. It served as the official scientific journal of the Taiwan Pediatric Association and published original research articles, clinical studies, review papers, and case reports related to child medicine and infant health. The journal covered a broad range of pediatric specialties including neonatology, pediatric cardiology, infectious diseases, immunology, endocrinology, genetics, nutrition, pediatric surgery, and developmental medicine. It played an important role in promoting pediatric research within Taiwan and across Asia while also attracting international contributions from clinicians and medical scientists. Because of its scientific quality and international readership, the journal was indexed in major biomedical databases such as MEDLINE, PubMed, Scopus, and EMBASE. In 2009, the journal was renamed Pediatrics and Neonatology to strengthen its international visibility and modernize its academic scope. The successor journal continues to publish influential research in pediatric medicine today.
