The ACTA ORIENTALIA is a highly prestigious annual journal founded in 1922, published annually under the auspices of the Oriental Societies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, with support from the Nordic Publications Board for Periodicals in the Humanities and Social Science (NOP-HS). It is a journal devoted to the study of languages, history, archaeology and religions of the Orient from the earliest times down to our day.
