The Acta Colombiana de Psicología Journal publishes original findings from research in Psychology and this discipline in dialogue with others, with the purpose of disseminating them to the university community and all people interested in learning about its new advances and applications to different fields and needs of contemporary society. Acta Colombiana de Psicología is the open-access serial scientific publication of the Faculty of Psychology at the Catholic University of Colombia. Its focus and coverage extend both to disciplines and related areas. Its biannual periodicity focuses on each issue, focusing on problems of particular relevance to contemporary psychology. The journal's primary purpose is to reach universities, private and state entities, healthcare and education centers, and all interested individuals, both nationally and internationally, to share academic experiences in psychology, identify new advances in the field, and apply them to different fields and needs of contemporary society. Its articles are selected through a rigorous peer-review process conducted by national and international referees.
