Acta Chirurgica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae was a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the field of general and specialized surgery. It was published by Akadémiai Kiadó under the auspices of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and formed part of a broader group of “Acta” medical and scientific journals produced in Hungary during the 20th century. The journal focused on publishing original surgical research, clinical studies, operative techniques, and case reports. Its scope included abdominal surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, trauma surgery, and experimental surgical research.
