ACM SIGHPC Connect (SC)

ACM SIGHPC Connect is the official newsletter/publication of the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on High Performance Computing (SIGHPC), first issued in 2012 and continuing as a regular digital communication vehicle for the HPC community. The newsletter aims to disseminate timely information about SIGHPC activities, executive committee updates, global chapter news, upcoming conferences (e.g., SC, PASC, PEARC), member achievements, educational opportunities, fellowship announcements, and other items of interest to both seasoned professionals and early-career researchers in high performance computing. Published through the ACM Digital Library and distributed via email to SIGHPC members ahead of broader posting, Connect blends organizational news with community-driven editorial content, such as technology spotlights, HPC trends, and event summaries. While not a peer-reviewed research journal in the traditional sense, the newsletter fosters community engagement, highlights significant achievements, and provides a forum for SIG members to contribute ideas and announcements.
