Academy Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE)

The Academy Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE) is a scholarly open access research journal published by the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, Nigeria. It was conceived in 1999 by the Faculties of Science and Engineering and first issued in 2001. AJSE aims to disseminate original and significant research contributions in all areas of science, technology, and engineering, including mathematics, computer science, chemistry, biological sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields. Articles may present theoretical advances, experimental results, analytical studies, short communications, technical and design notes, or book reviews. The journal operates a double‑blind peer review to ensure scientific rigor and quality, with an average publication timeline of about four weeks after acceptance for accepted manuscripts. AJSE maintains open access under a CC BY license, enabling unrestricted public access and reuse of published work. It is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and carries the online E‑ISSN 2734‑3898. The editorial leadership is headed by Prof. Sydney C. Osuala, supported by a diverse editorial board of academics and researchers. Though the journal’s intended frequency is annual, publication schedules may vary as issues are prepared and released.
