Abdominal Radiology is a prestigious, monthly peer‑reviewed medical journal that has been publishing continuously since 1976, initially under the title Abdominal Imaging and renamed in 2016 to reflect its broadened international scope. It is dedicated to advancing the science and clinical practice of abdominal diagnostic imaging by disseminating high‑quality original research, comprehensive review articles, technical evaluations, and practice‑relevant studies spanning imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET and interventional radiology techniques. The journal covers imaging of the full range of abdominal organs including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, genitourinary and pelvic systems, incorporating both fundamental imaging science and clinical applications that directly inform patient care and management.
