Journal Descriptions

A and A Case Reports was a peer reviewed medical journal dedicated to publishing case reports and clinical observations in the field of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. Published by Wolters Kluwer Health in association with the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) , the journal served as a specialized platform for anesthesiologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to share unique clinical experiences and uncommon anesthesia related cases. The journal published reports on innovative anesthetic techniques, perioperative complications, pain management strategies, critical care interventions, rare adverse events, and unusual patient presentations. Its content emphasized practical clinical learning and evidence based management approaches relevant to anesthesia practice and patient safety. In 2018, A and A Case Reports was renamed as “A&A Practice” to broaden its clinical scope beyond case reports while continuing its focus on practical anesthesiology and perioperative care. The journal remains an important educational resource for professionals in anesthesia and critical care medicine.
