The Österreichische Zeitschrift für Kinderheilkunde und Kinderfürsorge was an Austrian medical journal focused on pediatrics (child health, child care, and preventive pediatrics). It published clinical research, pediatric case studies, child welfare topics, and public health issues related to infant and child care in Austria. The journal played an important historical role in Austrian pediatric medicine and later evolved into the Neue österreichische Zeitschrift für Kinderheilkunde, continuing the same academic tradition. It was mainly used by pediatricians, child health specialists, and healthcare institutions for sharing clinical and preventive pediatric knowledge.
