Économie rurale (ER)
Journal Descriptions
Économie rurale is one of the few French social science journals devoted to agriculture, food (in the broadest sense) and land. A recognized scientific journal referenced by the American Economic Association and the Journal of Economic Literature, it publishes thematic issues (selected papers from various SFER symposia) as well as single issues on a variety of subjects. It is managed by an editorial board, chaired by SFER members. The quarterly journal features various sections: research, facts and figures, state of the art and reading notes. In the spirit of open science, Économie rurale has been 100% Open Access since January 1, 2024. The journal is nevertheless committed to maintaining free submissions and publications. To perpetuate this new model based on openness and free access, your support for SFER (Société française d'économie rurale) is all the more necessary today. Support Économie rurale by joining SFER.
