Acta Botanica Croatica is an international peer reviewed scientific journal devoted to the advancement of botanical and plant science research. Established in 1980, the journal publishes original research papers, review articles, and short communications covering diverse areas of botany including taxonomy, ecology, physiology, cytology, molecular biology, biodiversity, and conservation science. The journal encourages interdisciplinary studies related to terrestrial and aquatic plants, fungi, algae, and environmental interactions. It provides an academic platform for botanists, ecologists, environmental scientists, and plant biologists from around the world to share innovative scientific findings and methodologies. The publication places particular emphasis on European and Mediterranean flora while also welcoming global botanical research contributions.
